妻籠宿 Tsumago-juku
Area Overview
Tsumagojuku is the 42nd inn counting from Edo (now Tokyo). The inn has power poles and looks as if time has stood still since the Edo period. A walk at night is the best way to experience the past of Tsumagojuku, which was selected as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings in 1976.
